Jangan Bohongi Hati

Jujur saja, saya tidak selamanya jujur. Kadang saya bohong, demi alasan-alasan tertentu, misalnya untuk menjaga perasaan orang, untuk menyudahi pembicaraan yang bikin saya bosan, atau untuk menutupi perasaan saya.

Dari segala kebohongan yang pernah saya lakukan, ternyata berbohong kepada hati sendiri yang paling berat. Saya pikir, ketika saya menerima kehadiran orang lain yang tepat berada di depan saya dan saya berpura-pura hadir untuknya, hati saya akan merasa penuh, tidak ada lagi ruang kosong yang menganga. Tapi ternyata saya salah besar, kebohongan tidak akan membuat hati kita terasa utuh. Ruang kosong akan tetap kosong. Dan yang bisa saya lakukan hanyalah mengakui kosong itu sebagai keadaan yang harus saya terima. Paling tidak, untuk saat ini.
